"Kendall, where are your eyes?"

For the past 9+ months poor Kendall has had to put up with my constant wiping, massaging & cleaning due to a clogged tear duct in her right eye. But that is no more, yeah!!!

August 19th, our sweet baby girl went in for minor surgery to unclog her tear duct.

She had to be put to sleep, which was the scariest part for mom & dad, but she did great. She woke up cranky & confused but once we were home it took her about 5 min to be ready to play again.
After the procedure, (but before she woke up) the Dr. dilated her pupils to get a better look.
I had noticed that she favored her left eye, causing the right eye to look lazy especially when she would look at me from across the room.
The Dr. told us that she is far sighted & has an astigmatism which means she needs glasses.

Roger & I took Kendall to a specialty glasses place for kids. They are amazing & had tons to choose from. (Child's View www.achildsview.net)
We went back & forth between metal frames & plastic, but ended up with the plastic.
More character & they really fit her personality.

Kendall has been wearing her glasses for almost & week, but you'd think she's always had them. She reaches for them when she wakes up in the morning. And once they are on they don't come off until nap time. She is a pro!
Miracles happen everyday!
I'm so grateful for the miracle of medicine & technology. Heavenly Father is so aware of us & our needs. Can you even imagine living in a time where simple things such as glasses were unheard of? Or what if there weren't doctors trained to find & fix the smallest ailments?
Kendall is going to be able to live (& see) a happy & healthy life because of daily miracles from the Lord. We are so blessed!
